What is Tagua Nut?
Tagua nut, often called vegetable ivory, comes from the seeds of a palm tree native to South America. Once dried, it becomes naturally hard and durable, making it an ideal material for handcrafted jewelry.
Tagua is harvested responsibly and sustainably. The nuts are collected after they naturally fall to the ground, or by skilled farmers who carefully climb the palm trees to gather mature seeds without damaging the tree. This process ensures the palms continue to thrive while protecting the surrounding ecosystem and supporting local communities.
Our jewelry is handcrafted by skilled artisans in Bogotá, Colombia. Each piece is carefully made by hand, combining traditional techniques with thoughtful design to create unique, wearable works of art.
Where do you ship from and how fast will I receive my order?
Your order will ship within 1–2 business days from New Jersey. Standard USPS shipping typically takes 3–5 business days. If you need your order sooner, you can select one of our expedited shipping options at checkout.
How to Take Care of Your Jewelry
1. WeAvoid Water & Chemicals
Remove your jewelry before swimming, showering, or using cleaning products, perfumes, or lotions to prevent damage or discoloration.
Special note for matte-finish jewelry: Matte pieces can sometimes stain. Don’t worry—our colorants are chemical-free and safe. If this happens, simply wash gently with soap and water.
3. Handle with Care
These pieces are made from natural materials, not plastic. They can break if dropped or hit, so handle them gently to preserve their beauty and longevity.
4.Wear with Love
Your jewelry is designed to be worn, enjoyed, and cherished, so wear it confidently and care for it thoughtfully.
What are the exchange and return policy?
- Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges.
- Returns: We accept returns within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be unused and in their original condition.
- Earrings: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on earrings.
